BASIC PRACTICAL TRAINING:
Pilot a civilian drone in dual control and then autonomously, as soon as the candidate's level allows them to safely master the machine.
Learn the regulatory procedures and flight declarations to obtain permits for drone flights in Dangerous, Restricted, or Prohibited areas.
Master the specifics of flights in urban areas, sensitive zones, Prohibited, Dangerous, or Restricted areas.
Control, adjust, and maintain aerial imaging equipment, including the drone, IMU sensors, flight controller, impact limiter (Parachute), and FTS circuit breaker.
Check the operation, according to the equipment, of Geo-Fencing, Geo-Barriers, and Low-Speed systems based on the envisaged working area, to achieve aerial image captures by drone in compliance with the law and the equipment's user and maintenance manual.
Follow different checklists (machine preparation, pre-takeoff, post-landing).
Check aeronautical information for the envisaged working area and confirm feasibility.
Consider conditions for the possible implementation of protocols, based on mission objectives and regulatory category type considering the drone used, its payload, and its class mention.
Take into account obstacles that may interfere with operations and define safety perimeters and exclusion zones for third parties.
Confirm the Operational Volume (volume of evolutions and confinement volume, surface of evolutions and surface of confinement, "buffer" surfaces Risk SOL and Risk AIR).
Collect Information Certificates from people in the area, and verify the presence of all necessary and regulatory documents.
Implement procedures to ensure the safety and control of human, technical, and environmental risks, and put into practice on-site the decisions made.
Verify that an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) has been developed, and if necessary, that a Manager (ERM) or a Team (ERT) has been designated.
Master drone Remote Piloting, and know the operational emergency procedures in abnormal conditions (in case of equipment failure or intrusion of third parties into the flight zone) for OPEN and SPECIFIC STS-01 / STS-02 categories.
ADVANCED TRAINING:
Preparation of a complex mission dossier.
Practicing flights in real working conditions.
Using an onboard camera considering flight-related specifics.
Movements primarily used with a camera onboard a Drone.
Combination of movements leading to original camera displacements.
WILL BE EVALUATED:
Technical skills for smooth audiovisual capture, including the quality of drone trajectories and associated complex camera movements, within the framework of a normal flight situation in Open and Specific STS-01 / STS-02 categories.
Skills related to flight preparation for Open and Specific STS-01 / STS-02 categories evaluated using a multiple-choice questionnaire.
Skills required in the preparation of a drone and working area in Open and Specific STS-01 / STS-02 categories.
Adjustment of the photographic sensor and drone settings required to perform audiovisual capture.
Ability and knowledge to implement safety and emergency procedures in case of machine failure or intrusion of a third party into the flight zone.
Ability to manage an event report and flight debriefi
