BASIC PRACTICAL TRAINING:
Pilot a civilian drone in dual control and autonomously as soon as the level allows the trainee to master the machine in emergency situations.
Carry out regulatory procedures and flight declarations to obtain flight authorizations for drones in dangerous, regulated, or prohibited areas from authorized bodies.
Master the specifics of flights in the OPEN or SPECIFIC categories.
Control, adjust, and maintain aerial imaging equipment, including the drone, sensors, flight controller, impact limiters, as well as the workspace, to capture aerial images with the drone in accordance with the law and the user manual.
Verify aeronautical information for the workspace, feasibility, conditions, possible protocol implementation, mission objectives according to the category (OPEN or SPECIFIC) considering the drone used and its payload.
Take into account obstacles that may hinder the operation and the exclusion zone of third parties by collecting information attestations from authorized individuals in the flight area and verifying the presence of all necessary regulatory documents.
Establish procedures to ensure safety and control of human, technical, and environmental risks of drone pilot activity in the field.
Master drone telepiloting, know emergency operational procedures in abnormal conditions in case of equipment failure or third-party intrusion in the flight area for subcategories A1, A2, A3, and categories STS-01, STS-02, and conduct debriefing.
Implement on-field decisions for the development of the operational volume (evolution and confinement volumes, evolution and confinement surfaces, Risk SOL and Risk AIR buffer surfaces).
Verify the functioning of GeoVigilances and GeoBarriers, LowSpeed, Parachute, FTS.
Ensure that an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) has been developed and, if necessary, that a Manager (ERM) or a Team (ERT) has been designated.
ADVANCED TRAINING:
Acquire flight techniques to inspect and control buildings using a drone.
Understand the process of creating 3D digital models from photogrammetry, from site preparation to the placement of markers and targets, sketch creation, sensor understanding and settings, to final export.
ASSESSMENT:
Technical skills in smooth audiovisual capture, including drone trajectory quality and associated complex camera movements, in a normal flight situation in OPEN and SPECIFIC STS-01 / STS-02 categories.
Skills related to mission flight preparation for OPEN and SPECIFIC STS-01 / STS-02 categories evaluated using a multiple-choice questionnaire (QCM).
Skills required in the preparation of a drone and workspace in OPEN and SPECIFIC STS-01 / STS-02 categories.
Adjustment of the photographic sensor and drone settings required to perform audiovisual shooting.
Ability and knowledge to implement safety and emergency procedures in case of equipment failure or third-party intrusion in the flight area.
Ability to manage an event report and flight debriefing.
