The theoretical training and STS theoretical exam are organized by designated entities.

After passing the theoretical exam, an STS certificate is issued by the aviation authority.

The practical training must be completed with a recognized entity.

The STS-01 and/or STS-02 practical training completion accreditation is issued by the recognized entity if the evaluation report concludes that the remote pilot has achieved a satisfactory level of practical skills.
